인사말 전문
오늘날 우리 사회는 글로벌화와 다문화라는 시대적 배경 아래 이문화에 대한 이해는 물론, 다양한 분야의 지식 공유를 통해 보람 있고 풍요롭게 살아갈 수 있는 사회적 기반을 절실히 요구하고 있습니다.
‘지식’이라는 것은 개인이 습득을 통해 얻은 학습경험과 정보를 지역사회에 알리고 함께 나눔으로써 개인의 사회적 위상은 물론 보다 나은 삶의 가치를 실현하게 하는 힘입니다.
본 연구원(HKDI)은 다양한 문화강좌를 통해 언어, 문화, 환경이라는 글로벌 3원소와 역사, 철학, 사상, 문학 등의 인문학을 주요 교육과제로 삼고 있습니다.
이에 본 연구원은 지역사회에서 다양한 분야에서 활동해 오고 계신 전문가들과 함께 지적·인적 네트워크를 형성하고, 다양한 교류의 장을 마련하여 지식나눔(Knowledge Sharing)과 지식생산(Knowledge Production)을 계속해서 실천해 나가고자 합니다.
끝으로 본 연구원을 위해 많은 도움을 주신 분들께 거듭 감사의 말씀을 드리며, 앞으로도 끊임없는 관심과 격려 그리고 조언을 부탁드립니다.
In today’s society, shaped by globalization and multiculturalism, it is essential not only to foster understanding of diverse cultures, but also to build a solid social foundation through the sharing of knowledge across various fields. Such a foundation is vital for creating a meaningful and enriching life for all.
Knowledge is more than the accumulation of personal learning and experience. It gains greater value when shared with the local community. Through this exchange, individuals can enhance their social presence and contribute to a better quality of life for others.
At HKDI, we place a strong emphasis on humanities education. Our cultural programs focus on the three global elements of language, culture, and environment, as well as history, philosophy, thought, and literature.
Together with experts who are actively engaged in a wide range of fields in our community, we are committed to cultivating spaces of intellectual and human exchange. Through these networks, we aim to continuously promote knowledge sharing and knowledge production.
